Contact Us
Please consider contacting us via email before placing a phone call. We can respond to most emails within a few hours, and this is the most convenient and preferred method of communication for our business. Isaac is usually working in the bees, and talking on the phone through a bee suit and veil while surrounded by bees is not an easy task. Jayne is usually caring for our 4 children, and can accept calls, albeit with a bit of intrusion. Thank-you for understanding! We are also not able to accommodate tours at this time.

About
We got our start in beekeeping back in 2003, when Jayne gave Isaac his first beehive as a Christmas gift. What started as a simple hobby quickly turned into much more... first a serious obsession, then a side-line occupation, and now a full-time job and a way of life. The Barnes family- Isaac and Jayne, and their four young children- currently keep around 700 hives of bees. They harvest seasonal honey, collect bee pollen, create candles and handcrafted soap from the products of the hive, and market these products throughout Ohio as well as online and in several local grocery stores.
